Esoterism Academy: The Communion of God... and the society of chaos

The Foundations, ("Circle of Light", "Esoterism Studies", "Esoterism Academy", "Religious Philosophy Foundation"), are Spiritual Organizations, which have a purely educational character.
The Publications have a purely practical nature, to illuminate the phenomenon of existence. We try to look at our subjects from various, different, perspectives, precisely to illuminate as best we can the object of our contemplation. Some repetitions are done not out of blindness but for purely educational purposes.
We believe that we deal with all traditions, religions, theories and views, objectively. The reference to the various traditions is made to show that ultimately the Truth is one, regardless of its various historical expressions.
Our purpose is not only to give something from our understanding, but also to share the knowledge with everyone. If you have any question, suggestion, or opinion, about the topics published, we will be happy to share them with us.

The Communion of God... and the society of chaos

God above all is One Unity and One Unifying Power since He unites everything in Himself. And those who come to God and Unite with Him and become One, within the Divine Reality, Experience this Unifying Action and Activity and State... In such a State there is Unity. In the Divine Life, in the Life in God, there is Unity...

"Communion With The Living God" (the "True Divine Communion") is possible when a man truly experiences what Jesus said when he was asked about the greatest commandment. The answer was: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength"... Only when a man turns with all his power (and all it's psycho-mental -psycho-somatic and physical powers) towards God... when all the lower psycho-mental powers are oriented towards God and absorbed in God until they are "annihilated" in the Divine Presence... when with all the soul (the psychosomatic ego) man turns to God and "empties" himself of every "ego"... when with his whole heart (that is, with his real metaphysical essence, which is God Himself - as Divine Energy - that " substances " him) man "opens" to God...that is when a man is completely emptied (as consciousness, as mind) of every individual (psycho-somatic) element and functions as a pure mind (pure soul, without being separated from the body now properly arranged) can Receive God within it, in a Real Living Divine Communion (and not theoretical or imaginary...)...

This Real Living Holy Communion that occurs in real, "living time" (outside of standard time, in a transcendent space of experience...) has nothing to do with "holy communion" (the partaking of "bread and wine ») that they give to the churches. Jesus was talking about Living Communion and not receiving a physical symbol. In the outer churches, two thousand years now, they cannot "distinguish" the Living Reality, which Exists and Works in Real, Transcendent, Eternal, Time, and the symbol, the symbolic language used by the "mystics."

Man can reach deification only by the Living Partaking of the Living God and not by partaking of material things (even if in the imagination of some people these "materials" are transformed into the "body and blood" of God...)... No one has come to deification with bread and wine... but many have come by loving God with all their might, by turning to God with all their (psychological) powers, by cleansing themselves (the soul) of the (psycho-somatic) egoic element, by "opening" their "heart" (i.e. their very existence, their ontological essence) and Accepting within themselves the "Divine Presence" ...

Actually, God Is Alive, and Only Those Who Come Alive to Him Partake of God... In the outer churches they simply "mock" the "naive"... All the outer worship life and rituals and exorcisms are all in vain: God, Love wants, and not sacrifice...

The Real Living Communion With God (the "True Divine Communion") transfigures man, and transforms him into a true eternal man, in the Image of God (Real and not in power)... The purification of the soul (the pure mind ), the elevation above the lower mental functions and the world, is but a Condition and a Preparation and an Entrance into the Divine Reality. We empty the space of the soul from every individual element, We fill our Soul with the Divine Presence that truly, consciously, substances us in the Eternal Living Time, and thus we become "God-bearing"... Our exit to God, or the Entrance of God in us (it doesn't matter how we describe it), it is not a loss of the person we were and fainting and disappearance but a "transformation" an "expansion of consciousness" that becomes Divine (since it is sustained by God). This good alteration of existence means an elevation, an ascent, an improvement, an expansion of perception and life... and not a retreat of existence... In fact, when we commune with God and become one with Him, we benefit since our Consciousness Expands, Sharpens, and Deepens to Embrace the Universe... God Enlightens us on Unknown Paths of Evolution, Wider Horizons of Existence, and Richer Life, which is Eternal Life in the Gulfs of God... Conversely, retreat into the ego is truly a decline and a degeneration...

Union With God (in a Real Living Fellowship With Him) Expands and Broadens our being. To be Absorbed in the Divine Reality, to Experience the Divine Presence within us (to become God-bearing), overcoming the lower individual elements, is a Higher Evolution of Man that transforms into a True Eternal Universal Man (according to the Model of Jesus).. All the mystical fathers, and John, and Origen, and Evagrius, and Gregory of Nyssa, and Dionysius, and Maximus, and Simeon, and others, spoke of the same evolution towards God Within God ( which Jesus had taught)... The deified man, the god-bearer, is an Enlightened, Expanded Universal Man and not an automaton, or a puppet of God. The Person (the Existence), having overcome the psycho-mental limitations, the body, the world, is transformed into the True Person of God (who Animates all his "own"). It is the One God who Acts in all divine men so that there is One Shepherd, one flock, and One Real Inner Spiritual Unity... and not an artificial outer union, like the outer churches...

God in all His true believers, who come to Him in a Real Living Communion (in a "True Divine Communion") in a Living (but Eternal and Transcendent) Time constitutes the Essence of Unity, the Consummation of Love as Union... When the many Unite in the Gulfs of One, with The One Living God, then truly There Is the "State of God". This "State of God", the Community of Saints, Exists but is not outwardly manifested by external organizations, gatherings, and cults... Those who Enter into the Divine Reality, Experience it, but it is futile to try to describe it to others ... It is enough that We Experience the Truth, it is enough that all this is True and Happening... Blessed are those who Enter the Kingdom of God...

This Living State of God, the Kingdom of God, is a Place of Living, Holy, and Inviolable to the profane... and certainly has nothing to do with external churches and organizations and human things... The Kingdom of God Is Here, Now. Its Gate is everyone's Consciousness. It is up to each one to pass the Gate either inwards, towards God, or outwards, towards the ego, the world, and the false power of loss...

But things are different for people who "turn away" from God... Those who follow a centrifugal activity, away from God, focus on the perception of individual existence, an ego (with its own perceptions, needs, and interests) ...

A world of many such egos is a chaotic world since each ego has its own course. The effort to unify, and organize common, oriented activities (societies, groups, social life, etc.), whether it comes from biological organizational structures of human societies, or from cultural and political development, remains in reality, and in its essence, artificial and cannot overcome (except in a violent way) the chaotic activities of the many people who make up the social groups... The result is that human societies (for 500,000 years since man began to distinguish himself from the animal) have never evolved to be peaceful, just, with social and economic equality... Human societies are always problematic.

Even religious communities never experience the religious ideal, Transcendent Reality, and Unity... and usually, selfish and imperfect people, destroy every attempt to Unify beings, in the Gulfs of a Higher Reality... Even in small religious communities, (monasteries of all religions) the ideal of God's Ideal State is never realized... they are always human communities, associations of many egos, always creating trouble with their disorderly and chaotic behavior...

Η Κοινωνία του Θεού… κι η κοινωνία του χάους

Ο Θεός πάνω από όλα Αποτελεί Μία Ενότητα και Μία Ενοποιητική Δύναμη αφού τα Ενώνει όλα Μέσα Του. Κι όσοι Προσέρχονται στο Θεό κι Ενώνονται Μαζί Του και γίνονται Ένα, μέσα στη Θεία Πραγματικότητα, Βιώνουν αυτή την Ενοποιητική Δράση και Δραστηριότητα και Κατάσταση... Σε μία τέτοια Κατάσταση υπάρχει Ενότητα. Στην Θεία Ζωή, στην Εν Θεώ Ζωή υπάρχει Ενότητα...

Η «Κοινωνία Με Τον Ζωντανό Θεό» (η «Αληθινή Θεία Κοινωνία») είναι δυνατή όταν ο άνθρωπος βιώσει πραγματικά αυτό που είπε ο Ιησούς όταν τον ρώτησαν για την μεγαλύτερη εντολή. Η απάντηση ήταν: «αγαπήσεις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου εξ’ όλης της καρδίας σου και εξ’ όλης της ψυχής σου και εξ’ όλης της διανοίας σου και εξ’ όλης της ισχύος σου»... Μονάχα όταν ο άνθρωπος στραφεί με όλη του την δύναμη (κι όλες τις ψυχονοητικές-ψυχοσωματικές και σωματικές δυνάμεις του) προς τον Θεό... όταν όλες οι κατώτερες ψυχονοητικές δυνάμεις προσανατολιστούν προς τον Θεό κι απορροφηθούν στον Θεό μέχρι να «εκμηδενιστούν» μέσα στην Θεία Παρουσία... όταν με όλη την ψυχή του (το ψυχοσωματικό εγώ) ο άνθρωπος στραφεί προς τον Θεό κι «αδειάσει» από κάθε «εγώ»... όταν με όλη του την καρδιά (δηλαδή με την πραγματική μεταφυσική ουσία του, που είναι ο Ίδιος ο Θεός – σαν Θεία Ενέργεια – που τον «ουσιώνει») ο άνθρωπος «ανοιχτεί» προς τον Θεό... όταν δηλαδή ο άνθρωπος αδειάσει τελείως (σαν συνείδηση, σαν νους) από κάθε ατομικό (ψυχοσωματικό) στοιχείο και λειτουργεί σαν καθαρός νους (καθαρή ψυχή, χωρίς να αποχωρίζεται από το σώμα που διευθετείται σωστά τώρα) μπορεί να Δεχτεί τον Θεό μέσα του, σε μία Πραγματική Ζωντανή Θεία Κοινωνία (κι όχι θεωρητική ή φανταστική...)...

Αυτή η Πραγματική Ζωντανή Θεία Κοινωνία που συμβαίνει σε πραγματικό, «ζωντανό χρόνο» (έξω από τον τυπικό χρόνο, σε ένα υπερβατικό χώρο εμπειρίας...) δεν έχει καμία σχέση με την «θεία κοινωνία» (την μετάληψη «του άρτου και του οίνου») που δίνουν στις εκκλησίες. Ο Ιησούς Μιλούσε για Ζωντανή Μετάληψη κι όχι για λήψη ενός υλικού συμβόλου. Στις εξωτερικές εκκλησίες, δύο χιλιάδες χρόνια τώρα, δεν μπορούν να «ξεχωρίσουν» την Ζωντανή Πραγματικότητα, που Υφίσταται και Λειτουργεί σε Πραγματικό, Υπερβατικό, Αιώνιο, Χρόνο, και το σύμβολο, την συμβολική γλώσσα που χρησιμοποιούν οι «μύστες».

Ο άνθρωπος μπορεί να φτάσει στην θέωση μόνο με την Ζωντανή Μετάληψη του Ζωντανού Θεού κι όχι με μετάληψη υλικών πραγμάτων (όσο κι αν στην φαντασία κάποιων ανθρώπων αυτά τα «υλικά» μετουσιώνονται σε «σώμα και αίμα» του Θεού...)... Κανένας δεν έχει φτάσει στην θέωση με τον άρτο και τον οίνο... πολλοί όμως έχουν φτάσει με το να αγαπήσουν τον Θεό με όλη τους την Δύναμη, με το να στραφούν προς τον Θεό με όλες τους τις (ψυχονοητικές) δυνάμεις, με το να καθαρίσουν τον εαυτό τους (την ψυχή) από το (ψυχοσωματικό) εγωικό στοιχείο, με το να «ανοίξουν» την «καρδιά» τους (δηλαδή την ίδια τους την ύπαρξη, την οντολογική ουσία τους) και να Δεχτούν μέσα τους την «Θεία Παρουσία»...

Στην πραγματικότητα ο Θεός Είναι Ζωντανός και Μεταλαμβάνουν του Θεού μόνο όσοι Προσέρχονται Ζωντανά προς Αυτόν... Στις εξωτερικές εκκλησίες απλά «κοροϊδεύουν» τους «αφελείς»... Όλη η εξωτερική λατρευτική ζωή κι οι τελετουργίες κι οι εξορκισμοί είναι όλα μάταια: Ο Θεός Αγάπη Θέλει κι όχι θυσία...

Η Πραγματική Ζωντανή Κοινωνία Με Τον Θεό (η «Αληθινή Θεία Κοινωνία») μετουσιώνει τον άνθρωπο, τον μεταμορφώνει σε αληθινό αιώνιο άνθρωπο, κατ΄ Εικόνα του Θεού (Πραγματική κι όχι εν-δυνάμει)... Η κάθαρση της ψυχής (ο καθαρός νους), η ανύψωση πάνω από τις κατώτερες ψυχονοητικές λειτουργίες και τον κόσμο, δεν είναι παρά μία Προϋπόθεση και μία Προετοιμασία και μία Είσοδος στην Θεία Πραγματικότητα. Αδειάζουμε τον χώρο της ψυχής από κάθε ατομικό στοιχείο, Γεμίζουμε την Ψυχή μας με την Θεία Παρουσία που μας ουσιώνει πραγματικά, συνειδητά, στον Αιώνιο Ζωντανό Χρόνο και γινόμαστε έτσι «θεοφόροι»... Η έξοδός μας προς τον Θεό, ή η Είσοδος του Θεού μέσα μας (δεν έχει σημασία πως θα το περιγράψουμε), δεν είναι μία απώλεια του προσώπου που είμασταν και μία λιγοθυμιά και μία εξαφάνιση αλλά μία «μεταμόρφωση» μία «διεύρυνση της συνείδησης» που γίνεται Θεϊκή (αφού ουσιώνεται από τον Θεό). Η καλή αυτή αλλοίωση της ύπαρξης σημαίνει μία ανύψωση, μία άνοδο, μία βελτίωση, μία διαπλάτυνση της αντίληψης και της ζωής... κι όχι μία υποχώρηση της ύπαρξης... Στην πραγματικότητα όταν Κοινωνούμε Με Τον Θεό και Γινόμαστε Ένα Μαζί Του, εμείς επωφελούμαστε αφού η Συνείδησή μας Διευρύνεται, Οξύνεται και Βαθαίνει για να Συμπεριλάβει το Παν... Ο Θεός μας Φωτίζει Άγνωστους Δρόμους Εξέλιξης, Πλατύτερους Ορίζοντες Ύπαρξης, Πλουσιότερη Ζωή, που είναι Αιώνια Ζωή στους Κόλπους του Θεού... Αντίθετα, η οπισθοχώρηση στο εγώ είναι πραγματικά μία κατάπτωση κι ένας εκφυλισμός...

Η Ένωση Με Τον Θεό (σε μία Πραγματική Ζωντανή Κοινωνία Μαζί Του) Διευρύνει και Πλαταίνει την ύπαρξή μας. Το να Απορροφιόμαστε στην Θεία Πραγματικότητα, το να Βιώνουμε την Θεία Παρουσία μέσα μας (το να γινόμαστε θεοφόροι), ξεπερνώντας τα κατώτερα ατομικά στοιχεία, είναι μία Ανώτερη Εξέλιξη του Ανθρώπου που μεταμορφώνεται σε Αληθινό Αιώνιο Παγκόσμιο Άνθρωπο (κατά το Πρότυπο του Ιησού)... Όλοι οι μυστικοί πατέρες, κι ο Ιωάννης, κι ο Ωριγένης, κι ο Ευάγριος, κι ο Γρηγόριος Νύσσης, κι ο Διονύσιος, κι ο Μάξιμος, κι ο Συμεών, κι άλλοι, μίλησαν για την ίδια εξέλιξη προς τον Θεό Μέσα Στο Θεό (που είχε διδάξει ο Ιησούς)... Ο θεωμένος άνθρωπος, ο θεοφόρος, είναι ένας Φωτισμένος, Διευρυμένος Παγκόσμιος Άνθρωπος κι όχι ένα αυτόματο, ή μία μαριονέτα του Θεού. Το Πρόσωπο (η Ύπαρξη), έχοντας ξεπεράσει τους ψυχονοητικούς περιορισμούς, το σώμα, τον κόσμο, μεταμορφώνεται στο Αληθινό Πρόσωπο του Θεού (που Ζωοποιεί όλους τους «δικούς» του). Είναι ο Ένας Θεός που Ενεργεί μέσα σε όλους τους θεωμένους ανθρώπους, έτσι που υπάρχει Ένας Ποιμήν, μία ποίμνη, και Μία Πραγματική Εσωτερική Πνευματική Ενότητα... κι όχι μία τεχνητή εξωτερική ένωση, όπως οι εξωτερικές εκκλησίες...

Ο Θεός μέσα σε όλους τους πραγματικούς πιστούς Του, που Προσέρχονται σε Αυτόν σε Μία Πραγματική Ζωντανή Κοινωνία (σε μία «Αληθινή Θεία Κοινωνία») σε ένα Ζωντανό (αλλά Αιώνιο κι Υπερβατικό) Χρόνο αποτελεί την Ουσία της Ενότητας, την Ολοκλήρωση της Αγάπης Ως Την Ένωση... Όταν τα πολλά Ενώνονται στους Κόλπους του Ενός, με Τον Ένα Ζωντανό Θεό, τότε πραγματικά Υπάρχει η «Πολιτεία του Θεού». Αυτή η «Πολιτεία του Θεού», η Κοινότητα των Αγίων, Υπάρχει, αλλά δεν εκδηλώνεται εξωτερικά με εξωτερικές οργανώσεις, οργανισμούς, συνάξεις και λατρείες... Όσοι Εισέρχονται στην Θεία Πραγματικότητα, την Βιώνουν, αλλά είναι μάταιο να προσπαθούν να την περιγράψουν σε άλλους... Αρκεί που Βιώνουμε την Αλήθεια, αρκεί που όλα αυτά είναι Αληθινά και Συμβαίνουν... Μακάριοι όσοι Εισέρχονται στην Βασιλεία του Θεού...

Αυτή η Ζωντανή Πολιτεία του Θεού, το Βασίλειο του Θεού, είναι Ένας Χώρος Βιώματος, Ιερός κι Απαραβίαστος για τους βέβηλους... κι ασφαλώς δεν έχει καμία σχέση με εξωτερικές εκκλησίες κι οργανισμούς κι ανθρώπινα πράγματα... Το Βασίλειο του Θεού Είναι Εδώ, Τώρα. Η Πύλη του είναι η Συνείδηση του καθενός. Στον καθένα εναπόκειται να περάσει την Πύλη ή προς τα Έσω, προς τον Θεό, ή προς τα έξω, προς το εγώ, τον κόσμο και την ψεύτικη δύναμη της απώλειας...

Τα πράγματα είναι διαφορετικά όμως για τους ανθρώπους που «απομακρύνονται» από τον Θεό... Όσοι ακολουθούν μία κεντρόφυγο δραστηριότητα, μακριά από τον Θεό, επικεντρώνονται στην αντίληψη μίας ατομικής ύπαρξης, ενός εγώ (με δικές του αντιλήψεις, ανάγκες, ενδιαφέροντα, συμφέροντα)...

Ένας κόσμος από πολλά τέτοια εγώ είναι ένας κόσμος χαοτικός αφού κάθε εγώ έχει την δική του πορεία. Η προσπάθεια ενοποίησης, οργάνωσης κοινών, προσανατολισμένων, δραστηριοτήτων, (κοινωνίες, ομάδες, κοινωνική ζωή, κλπ.), είτε προέρχεται από βιολογικές οργανωτικές δομές των ανθρώπινων κοινωνιών, είτε από πολιτισμική και πολιτική ανάπτυξη, παραμένει στην πραγματικότητα, και στην ουσία της, τεχνητή και δεν μπορεί να ξεπεράσει (παρά μόνο με βίαιο τρόπο) τις χαοτικές δραστηριότητες των πολλών ανθρώπων που αποτελούν τις κοινωνικές ομάδες...Το αποτέλεσμα είναι ότι οι ανθρώπινες κοινωνίες (εδώ και 500.000 χρόνια που ο άνθρωπος άρχισε να ξεχωρίζει από το ζώο) ποτέ δεν αναπτύχθηκαν τόσο ώστε να είναι ειρηνικές, δίκαιες, με κοινωνική και οικονομική ισότητα... Οι ανθρώπινες κοινωνίες είναι πάντα προβληματικές.

Ακόμα και κοινότητες θρησκευτικές ποτέ δεν βιώνουν το θρησκευτικό ιδανικό, την Υπερβατική Πραγματικότητα κι Ενότητα... και συνήθως, άνθρωποι εγωιστές κι ατελείς, καταστρέφουν κάθε προσπάθεια Ενοποίησης των όντων, στους Κόλπους Μίας Ανώτερης Πραγματικότητας... Ακόμα και σε μικρές θρησκευτικές κοινότητες (μοναστήρια όλων των θρησκειών) δεν πραγματοποιείται ποτέ το ιδανικό της Ιδανικής Πολιτείας του Θεού... είναι πάντα ανθρώπινες κοινότητες, ενώσεις πολλών εγώ, που πάντα δημιουργούν πρόβλημα με την χαώδη και χαοτική συμπεριφορά τους...

Our Prayer

The Path Within

O Cosmos, we stand at the precipice of the Absolute, gazing into the void of the Unknown. We search for a way to transcend the bounds of thought and ego, to experience the essence of our deepest being.

The Buddha, the Masters of the East Upanishads, Orpheus, Jesus – all these wise beings have pointed us towards the Path. But it is not a path that is external, not a journey that can be traversed by the feet. It is a path that lies within, a journey that must be undertaken by the heart and the mind.

We must let go of the external orientations that nurture and educate us, that direct us towards other goals. We must look inward, to the stillness and silence that resides within. We must listen to the whispers of our soul, to the voice that speaks of the Absolute.

Krishnamurti and other modern Sages have shown us that it is possible to experience the Absolute, to transcend the limitations of thought and ego. They have shown us that it is not a mystery, not a miracle, but a possibility that lies within our human nature.

So let us embark on this journey, this Path that few follow. Let us let go of the burdens that weigh us down, the attachments that bind us. Let us embrace the unknown, the uncertainty, the chaos that lies within.

For in the depths of the Absolute, we will find the stillness and peace that we seek. We will find the answers to the questions that have plagued us for centuries. We will find the Truth that lies within.

Let us be brave, let us be bold, let us be fearless. Let us take the step into the void, into the unknown. For it is there that we will find the Absolute, the essence of our being. It is there that we will find our true nature, our true self.

May we be guided on this journey by the wise words of the Sages, by the light of the Absolute that shines within us. May we find the strength and courage to let go of the old, to embrace the new. May we find the peace and stillness that we seek, the Truth that lies within.

Glimpses of the Absolute

Within each of us lies the potential to transcend the limitations of ordinary mind and experience a deeper reality - what some traditions call the Absolute, the Ground of Being, or God. While this state of unity or peak experience has often been considered the domain solely of mystics and saints, the truth is that the capacity dwells dormant in every human soul. It is our essential nature, awaiting discovery through disciplined inner work.

All genuine spiritual paths point to the same destination, though using different languages and methods. At their core, they offer a process of liberation from identification with separate ego and gradual awakening to our intrinsic divine essence. This involves cultivating noble virtues, practicing presence of mind through meditation, and cultivating wisdom through inquiry into the nature of reality and self.

Over time, such disciplines help peel away layers of superficial conditioning to reveal our true blissful and peaceful self - one with the fundamental pure consciousness that underlies all forms. In that state of inward stillness and clarity, the usual boundaries between subject and object fall away. One perceives directly that all is contained within the one infinite life and knows directly one's identity with the eternal. Though ineffable, this realization brings transcendent peace, love, creativity and compassion.

While glimpses of the Absolute may come through grace to anyone at any time, consistent experience depends on committed effort. The seeker must firmly resolve to strip away all that obscures their true nature like the proverbial onion, layer by layer. With patient practice of presence and purification, the trappings of small self dissolve, and one may abide as peaceful, blissful awareness itself - fully awake in every moment to life's deepest meaning. Then daily living becomes worship, and ordinary reality is transfigured by love, joy, wisdom and service. This is the fruit of following the perennial path with heart and will - a taste of our shared spiritual potential.

CHAPTER III

QUIETING PEOPLE

Neglecting to praise the worthy deters people from emulating them; just as not prizing rare treasures deters a man from becoming a thief; or ignoring the things which awaken desire keeps the heart at rest.

Therefore, the wise ruler does not suggest unnecessary things, but seeks to satisfy the minds of his people. He seeks to allay appetites but strengthen bones. He ever tries by keeping people in ignorance to keep them satisfied and those who have knowledge he restrains from evil. If he, himself, practices restraint then everything is in quietness.

Neglecting to praise the worthy:

Neglecting to acknowledge and praise individuals who deserve recognition can discourage others from emulating their positive qualities.
