Η Ένωση Με Τον Θεό

Η Ένωση με τον Θεό είναι δυνατή μέσα από την Σχέση που Εγκαθιδρύει ο Θεός, Διά του Λόγου, Εν Πνεύματι, μέσα στην Ιερή Κοινότητα και μέσα από τον Εξαγιασμό της ύπαρξης…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό είναι για την ύπαρξη η Έσχατη Πραγματικότητα. Ο Θεός η Παρουσία του Θεού, η Ζωοποιός Δραστηριότητά Του, Είναι Μία Υπερβατική Κατάσταση. Δεν ανήκει στο χώρο και στον χρόνο. Δεν μπορεί να γίνει αντιληπτή ούτε από την νόηση, ούτε από την αισθητηριακή δραστηριότητα…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό έρχεται αιφνίδια, διά μιάς, χωρίς διαδικασία. Δεν υπάρχει δρόμος να οδηγεί Εδώ, τρόπος, προσπάθεια, τίποτα…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό Έρχεται «Εντός του νου», σαν Εμπειρία του Απείρου, πέρα από όλα τα όρια, σαν Εμπειρία της Ελευθερίας, πέρα από όλους τους περιορισμούς, σαν Εμπειρία της Μακαριότητας, πέρα από την ζωή… Δεν υπάρχει σαν εξωτερικό φαινόμενο…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό έρχεται όταν ο νους «ανοίγεται» προς τον Θεό, ενώ απελευθερώνεται από τους λογισμούς (κι όχι μόνο τους εμπαθείς λογισμούς αλλά και τους αγγελικούς λογισμούς και την ίδια την λειτουργία του λογισμού). Επιτυγχάνεται έτσι ο «καθαρός νους» που μπορεί να Ενωθεί με τον Θεό…
Η Καθαρά Προσευχή δεν είναι διαδικασία. Η Καθαρά Προσευχή επιτυγχάνεται όταν σταματήσει κάθε διαδικασία μέσα στο νου. Σ’ αυτή την κατάσταση της Καθαράς Προσευχής ο νους είναι άμορφος και μετέχει του Απείρου, της Αιωνιότητας, της Μακαριότητας, του Θείου…
Η Κατάσταση της Ένωσης με τον Θεό, η Ένωση του Απείρου με το πεπερασμένο είναι εκτός χώρου και χρόνου, δεν συμβαίνει σε ορισμένο τόπο ή εντός του «περιορισμένου νου»…
Σ’ αυτή την Ένωση η κτιστή ύπαρξη μετέχει με την Χάρη του Θεού, στα Μυστήρια της Ύπαρξής Του, Βυθίζεται στο Άπειρο, στο Αιώνιο, στο Μακάριο, στην Βασιλεία του Θείου, Θεώνεται (όχι κατ’ ουσίαν αλλά κατά χάριν)…

Η Καθαρά Προσευχή

Η ύπαρξη μπορεί να προσεγγίσει τον Θεό «εσωτερικά» κι όχι με την νόηση ή άλλη δραστηριότητα. Ο νους πρέπει να απορρίψει κάθε αντιληπτική διαδικασία, να αδειάσει από κάθε αντίληψη, να γίνει άμορφος. Τότε μόνο γίνεται αντιληπτό το «Άπειρο Βάθος του Είναι» στο Οποίο η κτιστή ύπαρξη Αναφέρεται, από το Οποίο δημιουργήθηκε, του Οποίου είναι Εικόνα και με το Οποίο μπορεί να Ενωθεί, να Θεωθεί μέσα στην Χάρη Του (όχι κατ’ ουσίαν αλλά κατά Χάριν), να συμμετάσχει στην Θεία Ζωή, στα Μυστήρια του Θεού, στην Αιωνιότητα, στην Βασιλεία των Ουρανών…
Με αυτή την έννοια η Ένωση με τον Θεό, η Αντίληψη του Θεού (του «Απείρου Βάθους του Είναι»), η Γνώση του Θεού, η Όραση του Θεού, η Συμμετοχή στον Θεό, είναι βιωματική εμπειρία που δεν «επιτυγχάνεται» με νοητικές ενέργειες, ούτε προσδιορίζεται με λογικούς προσδιορισμούς…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό είναι μία Κατάσταση Υπερβατική, πέρα από τον χώρο και τον χρόνο. Δεν είναι μια διαδικασία. Αντίθετα, είναι η εξάντληση κάθε διαδικασίας (που ρίχνει τον νου στον εξωτερικό κόσμο). Όσο ο νους βρίσκεται σε κάποια διαδικασία δεν είναι Πέραν, δεν έχει Ενωθεί με το Θεό…
Εννοείται ότι όσο ο νους βρίσκεται εντός της διαδικασίας, όσο λειτουργεί στο επίπεδο των λογισμών, όσο είναι προσκολλημένος στον εξωτερικό κόσμο υπάρχει η ανάγκη να ξεπερασθεί αυτή η κατάσταση. Με αυτή την έννοια εννοείται η Πνευματική Άσκηση και έτσι παίρνει περιεχόμενο η Καθαρά Προσευχή σαν Άσκηση, σαν Διαδικασία, σαν ξεπέρασμα των λειτουργιών της αισθήσεων, των λογισμών, κλπ., μέχρι να φτάσουμε στον καθαρό νου, που είναι σε θέση να Αντιληφθεί τον Θεό. Με αυτή την έννοια υπάρχουν Βαθμίδες στον Δρόμο Προς την Τελείωση και με αυτή την έννοια η Θέωση είναι αποτέλεσμα και κατάληξη της Πνευματικής Άσκησης, της Καθαράς Προσευχής…
(Γίνεται έτσι φανερό ότι η Καθαρά Προσευχή νοείται διαφορετικά, ανάλογα με το επίπεδο στο οποίο λειτουργούμε)…
Διακρίνουμε έτσι διάφορες βαθμίδες Τελείωσης:
1)    Θέωση
2)    Καθαρός νους, εσωτερική πνευματική κατάσταση (Τρεις βαθμίδες).
1)  Ανείδεος (ή μονοειδής) νους, χωρίς εσωτερική, μορφοποιητική, ενέργεια, που
αντανακλά το Θείο Άπειρο.
2)   Ασχημάτιστος, ήρεμος, χωρίς δραστηριότητες, νους, μία παγκόσμια συνείδηση
3)   Άμορφος, σε σχέση με τον εξωτερικό κόσμο των μορφών, νους. Μία ευρύτερη
του Ατομικού εγώ συνείδηση, που απλώνεται σε όλο τον «χώρο»
3)   Εξάντληση της λειτουργίας του λογισμού, (Τρεις βαθμίδες)
1)   Εξάλειψη των αγγελικών λογισμών (νόηση)
2)   Εξάλειψη των ψιλών λογισμών (διανόηση).
3)   Εξάλειψη των σύνθετων, εμπαθών, λογισμών (αντίληψη)
4) Έλεγχος των αισθήσεων
5) Απάρνηση του εξωτερικού κόσμου.
Η Καθαρά Προσευχή είτε στην Βαθύτερη Έννοιά της, είτε σαν Διαδικασία, δεν έχει Στόχο απλά να μας φέρει σε Επαφή με το Άπειρο αλλά αποσκοπεί στο να δημιουργήσει μια Μόνιμη Πνευματική Κατάσταση κατά την οποία θα βρισκόμαστε σε Αδιάλειπτη Ένωση με τον Θεό (χωρίς να αποκοπούμε από τον εξωτερικό κόσμο – που βλέπουμε τώρα με άλλα μάτια).

Το Βασίλειο του Θείου 

Σύμφωνα με την Χριστιανική Κοσμοθεωρία Ο Θεός Είναι Παρών. Ζούμε μέσα στην Παρουσία Του. Μέσα από την Ζωντανή Επικοινωνία Μαζί Του, μπορούμε να Εξαγιασθούμε και να Ομοιωθούμε με τον Θεό. Η Κατάσταση της Ένωσης με τον Θεό είναι η Ουσία της Αιωνιότητας, η Περιοχή της Απόλυτης Κυριαρχίας του Θεού, το Βασίλειο του Θεού, το Βασίλειο των Ουρανών. Η Προσέγγιση του Θεού και η Ένωση με τον Θεό, η Είσοδος στην Περιοχή της Απόλυτης Κυριαρχίας του Θεού, στο Βασίλειο των Ουρανών, είναι μία Κατάσταση Υπερβατική, άμεση άχρονη. Η Είσοδος σ’ αυτή την Κατάσταση έρχεται μετά από μια εσωτερική διαδικασία προσέγγισης του Θεού κι όταν ο νους αφήνεται στον Θεό τελειωτικά για να γλιστρήσει στο Άπειρο. Έρχεται σαν ένα άμεσο, ξαφνικό πέρασμα σε μια άλλη πνευματική περιοχή όταν ο νους εγκαταλείπει την νοητική του λειτουργία και γλιστρά στο Άπειρο. Είναι μια Κατάσταση που είναι πέρα από τον χρόνο γι’ αυτό και συμβαίνει χωρίς καμιά ιστορική προϋπόθεση, μπορεί να συμβεί οποτεδήποτε, μπορεί να συμβεί τώρα, εδώ, είναι παντελώς έξω από την ιστορία…
Η Προσέγγιση και η Ένωση με τον Θεό, η Είσοδος στην Πνευματική Περιοχή του Θείου είναι μια Υπερβατική Κατάσταση αλλά και Ένας Τόπος Ζωής, της Αληθινής Ζωής, πέρα από τον χώρο και τον χρόνο, πέρα από την ιστορία.
Ο Θεός, οι Ενωμένοι με τον Θεό Άνθρωποι, οι Συμμετέχοντες στην Θεία Ζωή, είναι η Ιερή Κοινότητα… Η Βασιλεία των Ουρανών Είναι Τόπος Ιερός και Απαραβίαστος, δεν μπορεί να εισέλθει κανένας, αν δεν είναι άξιος… Η Είσοδος στην Βασιλεία των Ουρανών δεν είναι αποτέλεσμα εξωτερικής δραστηριότητας ή εξωτερικών τελετουργικών πράξεων. Κατά συνέπεια στην Ιερή Κοινότητα εισέρχονται μόνο όσοι Ενώνονται Πραγματικά με τον Θεό κι όχι όλοι οι «κατ’ όνομα χριστιανοί». Είναι φανερό λοιπόν ότι η Ιερή Κοινότητα δεν ταυτίζεται με τις κοσμικές εκκλησίες…
Η Ένωση με τον Θεό, η Είσοδος στον Ιερό Τόπο, στα Άγια των Αγίων, το Πέρασμα στην Αιωνιότητα, είναι η Ουσία της χριστιανικής ζωής…
(Η Βίωση της Βασιλείας των Ουρανών, η δυνατότητα να την πραγματοποιήσει κάποιος εδώ, τώρα, άμεσα… η ύπαρξη μίας Άλλης Κατάστασης, πέρα από την ιστορική ζωή που ζούμε… υπερβαίνει την ιστορία, την καταργεί. Από εδώ πηγάζει η αντίληψη ότι ζούμε τους έσχατους χρόνους. Οι άνθρωποι μπορούν να διαλέξουν αν θα εισέλθουν στην Βασιλεία των Ουρανών ή αν θα πορευθούν στην απώλεια… Η Βασιλεία των Ουρανών δεν είναι απλά μία κατάσταση που υπερβαίνει την ιστορία, αλλά καθώς υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να κυριαρχήσει σαν κατάσταση μπορεί να καταργήσει ολοκληρωτικά την ιστορία. Αυτή είναι η έννοια της συντέλειας του κόσμου…)

Our Prayer

The Path Within

 

O Cosmos, we stand at the precipice of the Absolute, gazing into the void of the Unknown. We search for a way to transcend the bounds of thought and ego, to experience the essence of our deepest being.

The Buddha, the Masters of the East Upanishads, Orpheus, Jesus – all these wise beings have pointed us towards the Path. But it is not a path that is external, not a journey that can be traversed by the feet. It is a path that lies within, a journey that must be undertaken by the heart and the mind.

We must let go of the external orientations that nurture and educate us, that direct us towards other goals. We must look inward, to the stillness and silence that resides within. We must listen to the whispers of our soul, to the voice that speaks of the Absolute.

Krishnamurti and other modern Sages have shown us that it is possible to experience the Absolute, to transcend the limitations of thought and ego. They have shown us that it is not a mystery, not a miracle, but a possibility that lies within our human nature.

So let us embark on this journey, this Path that few follow. Let us let go of the burdens that weigh us down, the attachments that bind us. Let us embrace the unknown, the uncertainty, the chaos that lies within.

For in the depths of the Absolute, we will find the stillness and peace that we seek. We will find the answers to the questions that have plagued us for centuries. We will find the Truth that lies within.

Let us be brave, let us be bold, let us be fearless. Let us take the step into the void, into the unknown. For it is there that we will find the Absolute, the essence of our being. It is there that we will find our true nature, our true self.

May we be guided on this journey by the wise words of the Sages, by the light of the Absolute that shines within us. May we find the strength and courage to let go of the old, to embrace the new. May we find the peace and stillness that we seek, the Truth that lies within.

Glimpses of the Absolute

 

Within each of us lies the potential to transcend the limitations of ordinary mind and experience a deeper reality - what some traditions call the Absolute, the Ground of Being, or God. While this state of unity or peak experience has often been considered the domain solely of mystics and saints, the truth is that the capacity dwells dormant in every human soul. It is our essential nature, awaiting discovery through disciplined inner work.

All genuine spiritual paths point to the same destination, though using different languages and methods. At their core, they offer a process of liberation from identification with separate ego and gradual awakening to our intrinsic divine essence. This involves cultivating noble virtues, practicing presence of mind through meditation, and cultivating wisdom through inquiry into the nature of reality and self.

Over time, such disciplines help peel away layers of superficial conditioning to reveal our true blissful and peaceful self - one with the fundamental pure consciousness that underlies all forms. In that state of inward stillness and clarity, the usual boundaries between subject and object fall away. One perceives directly that all is contained within the one infinite life and knows directly one's identity with the eternal. Though ineffable, this realization brings transcendent peace, love, creativity and compassion.

While glimpses of the Absolute may come through grace to anyone at any time, consistent experience depends on committed effort. The seeker must firmly resolve to strip away all that obscures their true nature like the proverbial onion, layer by layer. With patient practice of presence and purification, the trappings of small self dissolve, and one may abide as peaceful, blissful awareness itself - fully awake in every moment to life's deepest meaning. Then daily living becomes worship, and ordinary reality is transfigured by love, joy, wisdom and service. This is the fruit of following the perennial path with heart and will - a taste of our shared spiritual potential.

QUIETING PEOPLE

Neglecting to praise the worthy deters people from emulating them; just as not prizing rare treasures deters a man from becoming a thief; or ignoring the things which awaken desire keeps the heart at rest.

Therefore, the wise ruler does not suggest unnecessary things, but seeks to satisfy the minds of his people. He seeks to allay appetites but strengthen bones. He ever tries by keeping people in ignorance to keep them satisfied and those who have knowledge he restrains from evil. If he, himself, practices restraint then everything is in quietness.

Neglecting to praise the worthy:

Neglecting to acknowledge and praise individuals who deserve recognition can discourage others from emulating their positive qualities.

Just as not appreciating rare treasures deters a person from engaging in theft, the absence of recognition can hinder the development of desirable traits in others.

By recognizing and praising the worthy, we can inspire others to strive for excellence.

Ignoring the things that awaken desire:

When we disregard or ignore the things that evoke desire, we can maintain a sense of contentment and inner peace.

By not constantly seeking external stimuli, we can cultivate a state of tranquility within ourselves.

This approach allows us to find satisfaction in what we already have, rather than constantly chasing after new desires.

The wise ruler's approach:

A wise ruler understands the importance of satisfying the minds of the people they govern.

They do not unnecessarily burden their subjects with irrelevant information or demands.

Instead, they focus on allaying appetites and reinforcing the overall well-being of their people.

The wise ruler restrains those with knowledge from engaging in harmful actions and promotes a culture of restraint and tranquility.

The benefits of quietness:

When individuals practice restraint and embrace a state of quietness, harmony and peace prevail.

By prioritizing calmness and self-control, both on an individual and societal level, conflicts can be minimized.

The pursuit of quietness allows for personal growth, contentment, and a more harmonious coexistence.

Embracing quietness

Quieting people involves recognizing the worthy, ignoring unnecessary desires, and fostering a state of tranquility. The wise ruler seeks to satisfy the minds of their people by allaying appetites and promoting restraint. By embracing quietness, individuals can experience personal growth and contribute to a more peaceful society. Remember to appreciate the positive qualities in others, find contentment in the present, and practice self-restraint for a harmonious existence.
